Making an Immediate Impact on the Community

Junior League of Albany Done in a Day (DIAD) projects consist of short-term volunteer involvement opportunities through one-day events. Typically, these events are in conjunction with one of the our current community partners and/or other non-profit organizations, that operate in our Community Impact Issue areas of hunger and childhood wellness.

Over the past year the Junior League of Albany has worked on DIAD projects with many great Capital Region non-profit organizations including, but not limited to:

• Mom Starts Here
• Girls, Inc.
• Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region
• Equinox, Inc.
• Regional Food Bank of NENY
• Sleep in Heavenly Peace
• Girls on the Run

This League year we will be partnering with select organizations for DIADs to increase our impact with these organizations and to strategically direct our volunteer efforts in the Capital Region.
